I hear you need to put a lower level barrier in like you would for bamboo or brambles. Dont know how deep though.

Why not leave some roots to regrow? Something great for winter eating and doesn't need replanting! Now I haven't planted them yet but I was told that if you put them in framed beds they'll stay contained and not wander all over the place.

Plant them somewhere that you will want them to be permenantely. They
