Hi Harvey,
I think Robert Hart is the best example of growing food along with what the Organoponics in Cuba, and pathway to freedom folks are doing. We could all eat very well if were were ready to stop and think about what we eat. I just saw Blue berries from Chile at the Super market.. Eat in season, supporting local CSA farms, and growing as much as you can any way you can.. There are many cultures that have done quite well for century's eating meat..
