Same with bunny poop if they are being wormed with ivermectin for mites/internal parasites.

anyone used biennial sweet clover?  Supposed to be the bomb for heavy clay soils.

I composted it first.  It just occurred to me that I do not have as many worms in the soil as I did last year????   NO more horse manure!!  I knew that is a problem but being so busy, just never thought about it.  Ken

Ken be careful with the horse manure.  We use to raise earthworms.  All it takes is one load with wormer in it and it can kill the earthworms in your soil.

I have never purchased mulch.  Free hay or straw from the feed stores that they cannot sell.  Spoiled hay from farmers. The horse farms are looking for someone to haul off the bedding out of the stalls. Livestock shows and circuses need someone to haul off the bedding.  Rabbit breeders.  FFA farms at the schools.
