Thanks for the feedback on my question. I hadn't really thought much about it til I read a book call The Hundred Year Lie, about all the synthetics and chemicals building up in our environment and bodies. There was an anecdote from a French scientist mentioning cattle manure not degrading and killing beneficial bugs, due to ivermectin residue.

I did use horse manure in my compost from a stable near by, and noticed tons of worms and normal activity, so maybe the residue does subside with time...

I think I'll confine the critters to one area for a bit after worming, and try not to use that manure in compost.
