AIG TravelGuard had the goods and was a little less expensive than the same
coverage at AAA. She is just looking for emergency care while outside the US.
I am able to understand enough from Chan to get on the phone or Internet and
deal with the vendors that are not well suited to speak Chinese or Vietnamese.

I have had some folks help me out in time of need and appreciate the
opportunity to serve her.

Thank you, Paula!

Hey Jim;

AIG TravelGuard offers several different kinds of travel insurance
policies, with various medical coverage included. Easy to get online,
but coverage is based on age, duration of the trip, and destination,
which might make it prohibitively expensive for her. I think it's more
oriented toward emergency care, too - not so much on continuing routine
care, if that's what she's looking for. A friend who travels often for
months at a time I believe uses MedEx Assist, which might be more what
she's looking for.

Good luck, I hope she has a great time and never needs the insurance she
gets :-)
Paula
