| Where do you live?
A long-time Durhamite, I have recently moved to Mebane with my family.
| What do you do?
When I first got involved with INW, back in the boom times, I was an
Attorney. That really rankled me because I got a lot of personal juice
from music and arts and all the fun stuff that happens in this part of
the state. Then I discovered the Internet and met some of the folks
around here who were starting businesses doing Internet Stuff and got
really juiced from that creative vibe. So I got into Internet Law.
Then I got into Internet Biz, and then leapt to Business School at about
the time of the Internet Crash. Good timing. Not.
After a couple years of b-school and looking for b-jobs and a sabbatical
being a stay-at-home-father, I have come full circle and am once again
an Attorney. I still get juiced by creative people and creative
businesses, and hope to make a living working with such things, albeit
on terms that are more fulfilling to me.
| What do you /really/ do?
I /really/ am a husband and a baby-daddy and a papa and all that good
family stuff. My biggest passion is for my wife, Deborah and my little
boy Isaac.
I am also something of an entrepreneur myself. The business I am
starting will make hard apple cider and apple brandy and other tasty
beverages in the NC mountains. Stay tuned.
