Man, we are still confusing our folks here. Maybe labels don't mean
anything but come on -- Begala, Carville, Buchanon, Matalin and all
their myriad brethren: they're hired political operatives. Pundits.
Call them what you will, they are NOT there to deliver the news. No
one expects them to. They're there to deliver opinion. There is a
whole discussion to be had as to whether or not they should even be
allowed to coment on news events alongside "real" reporters, but
that's a different issue.
Carl Cameron, Wolf Blitzer, etc are there to deliver news/report on
events. Carl crossed the line, and it appears by his background that
he did it intentionally. Maybe it's a hazy line and easy to stumble
across, but whatever -- he crossed it.
