I'd certainly give these guys a chance--they used to do great work on my Honda. But whatever you do, don't call it "DOW" Auto. They used to give me dirty looks and say, "It's TAE-OH Auto."

This was after years of doing business under a sign that said "TAO AUTO" in Chinese-restaurant script, with a giant Taoist symbol (the tai chi tu, a.k.a. the "yin-yang" symbol) as its logo. But they acted like *I* was crazy, or uppity... like T.A.O. was the owner's initials or something.

So I'm curious: Does anyone know the story there?
