Tony Spencer said the following on 3/8/04 10:20 AM:

I'm in need of a web designer for some contract work. I prefer someone
local with an established portfolio. Thanks much in advance if anyone has
any recommendations.

A quick request to everyone on the list. If you're writing the list
with something new, that is, not replying to an ongoing thread, can you
please don't just pick an e-mail to "reply" to but rather create a
brand new message. Why, you may ask? Because if you "reply" to
a message, those of us with threaded e-mail readers then see your
new e-mail listed under a previous thread. For instance, this message,
in my mail program, is stashed 7 or 8 levels deep under the "fury over
the WTC ads" thread. It's annoying and it's easy to avoid. So, please,
if you're starting a new thread, do *not* reply to an old one.

Thanks,
Tanner Lovelace
