Beth, I know you are being a bit defensive of this suggestion, please don't take this comment as a criticism...but...

For those of us with lots of family out of the country, all of their calls come through as "Unknown". So, unless we want to force our family to be screened, caller ID doesn't help us at all. However, we have had a fair amount of success at getting off of people's call lists by *always* asking to be removed from their list. Our calls have decreased dramatically lately.
