My best friend when I was a kid had a brother who had a Harley. He'd
painted the gas tank on it to match his favorite Boone's Farm wine - I
had thought it was cherry, but I'm thinking now it was strawberry.

Anyway.

Yeah, there are also cherry liqueurs; maraschino is a strong one, used
for flavor in drinks with something else as a base (don't drink this on
its own, or because you're expecting Luden's cough drops - it's pretty
nasty) - a good example of a drink with maraschino in it is the
Aviation. There are other liqueurs made from cherries: for example,
kirschwasser, which you can't get in NC AFAIK, but you can buy the cheap
Arrow Kirsch in Cameron Village and Cary on Walnut.

But, um, stay away from Boone's Farm. Ick.
