The domain name servers and core databases for .cc are managed by Internet
Services Corporation, a US Company. They have equipment on the CoCos
(Keeling) Islands and dns servers in the US, Australia, NZ and the UK (for
redundancy).
- now, whether or not they're worth *buying* is another matter. But it's
just like Tuvalu was assigned .tv, and BOY that's an interesting domain to
consider.
