Actually, as the daughter of an attorney, I don't pronounce "suite" as
"suit"; as the daughter of an old-line southern lady, non-southerners do
have problems discerning my "tar" and "tire" and my "tarred" and "tired."
I'll also admit that I have problems with vowels when spelling words. (It's
all Mom's fault.)
