Careful though: they tend to use soy milk in the lattes (vegan). Can be
unpleasant if you're not aware or expecting it.

No food/drink in the "secret" room allowed - pity. Also fairly small. Can
get excellent sandwiches and soups, though.

There's also Paradigm Coffeehouse in Waverly Place in south Cary, close to
the Beltline (formerly known as my alternate office when I worked for
Imonics), and both CupaJoes (the one on Avent Ferry & Western having 8-10
linux internet workstations for rent, edible sandwiches, and next door to
Mission Valley Cinema if you want to see a movie afterwards).

But there are - Francesca's on Ninth Street, and the Mad Hatter's Bake
Shop only two blocks away (bigger, has a separate back room area we could
use).

If chapel hill, I like Silk Road or Trio of the previous options.
