I know I've had a LOT of problems with my computer and email this year. I
saw the listserv start to
go "downhill" several years ago, but once held it in such high regard, I
refused to unsub. I've been
around since the soap lady, so that has to be, what..., 1995? I no longer
can get to my archived
emails, so I can't tell anymore. It's back in the past now. I do miss all
of the great discussion
pre-politcal flamewars, Lynn (both from Georgia and PA), Bev, and of course,
Tvo (and you too Gene...)
and many, many others.

While not a homesteading question, I do have a nut I need to crack and hope
that the cognoscenti here
can provide a solution. I made the mistake (nee: decision) to install
Windows 2008 on my new
computer. Jury is still out it. May work out well in the end, but for now,
it is really tough IMHO.
I have a problem with getting email on this puppy. If anyone has any
direct experience with Win2008,
Outlook.com and email, please let me know. If there is any interest, I'll
even discuss it here... :D

Wishing you all a bright and fulfilling New Year

Chris from Apex
