I have thought of sunflowers. I've got buckwheat seed but I've heard
that there is a problem grazing it. Forget what the problem was, have
to research it.
I'm actually into a mix. Soybeans, millet would be good, but I could
throw in some sunflowers and buckwheat, too. I'm going to need to
till and plant that acre on the hill in June. Sunflowers would look
real nice there. I've also got iron clay pea seed from last year that
needs to get planted.
Are the black oil seeds at the feed store OP? Will they grow true? I
think that a planting of them and buckwheat would look nice and be
useful.
