You don't have enough land to support the number of animals you are talking about here without doing a lot of feeding. If it were just "a" house and family on the land, you might be able to house half that number of animals and still have enough land for a high yield garden that you were talking about.

Running goats in an area that is going to be orchard means that you would have to do a whole bunch of protecting of your trees. Goats will eat young trees down to the ground. It is why people run herds of goats through areas they want to debrush.

Yes, you will need to house your buck and ram separately.

Twenty rabbits is a lot of rabbits to do colony style, particularly if you haven't raised rabbits before. You might want to start small until you find out if rabbits are what you really want and if you really want to do colony style.

I'm so sorry for not being more specific in my original posts. I guess I was just trying to give you the details of what we have already in regards to the proposal I am preparing. We are to have 20 rabbits that I would like to house in colony style and about 10 goats and 10 sheep. Only a few of these numbers will be male, and they would need to kept separate mostly from the does, right? To make sure not to have a negative effect on the milk?

Thanks,

If you had started with this specific detail, you would have giotten
more specific answers. For the barn how many and what kind of animals
do you plan to house?
