Acorn by law must turn in all registrations. They provide usually 3 piles:

1 - obvious forgeries (i.e. Mickey Mouse)
2. possible forgeries/questionable registrations
3. pretty sure valid

Acorn has been doing this for years (and no I am not part of them). This was
an apparent "local: Republican attempt at discrediting the organization,
instead of the few workers that were attempting to commit registration fraud
- (i.e. the one instance reported where it was the same hand-writing with
Mickey and The Dallas Cowboys, etc.). From what I understand, the worker was
being paid per registration - and needed the money - no one has been charged
as yet, so far as I have heard.

It is up to the county auditor to check the 3 piles that Acorn provides.
Anyone attempting to vote (i.e. by other means than using their own name)
would be committing the voter fraud you talk about.

What I found funny was the complaint that Acorn was attempting fraud in
Iowa...except they weren't actively working in Iowa up to that point. We
Iowans take elections seriously...so we don't usually need any assistance in
getting registered/voting. *vbg*

I'd be a little more concerned with the voting rolls purging going on in
Ohio, Georgia, Colorado, Florida, etc...
