As a general independent Barr is probably as good a candidate as any, but
he's running on the Libertarian ticket, which decidedly he is not.
Akka reminds me that Cynthia McKenny is the Green candidate and a more
screwed up nut job you will not find anywhere.
Right now it's like the old military saw, even if the person is not in the
least laudable, you salute the uniform. Right now our only option is to vote
for the alternate parties or for the notion of independents in general. None
of
them are going to win. If I thought Barr had any actual chance of winning, I
probably wouldn't vote for him. But he hasn't and so its a safe vote for
the Party.
Trying to elect a candidate is not the only purpose of the vote. </HTML>
