Gene, the population count of the entire nation of Switzerland is only a bit
more than twice that of the metro phoenix, area.  Give me  a small population
of blonde haired, blued eyed Lutherans; a war chest (like they had after
WWII); secret banking for the world's richest men, and, I think I could stick
them all in North Dakota, and promise good times for sixty years, regardless
of political philosophy. 
 
 If you do some reading about the Swiss, though, you'll see that they are not
happy that their immigrant workers are breeding at such a fast rate. 
Homogeneity allows for short term cultural experiments that could never work
in a heterogeneous society.........bobf
