No, no, no! Not Madeline the school girl. Only Madeline the French perfume will do <g>

However, to answer your question, no hammered dulcimer. I have a mountain/Appalachian dulcimer that my b-i-l made for me. Plus 2 violins (one made by Uncle Henry in the 1800s), a Rickenbacker 12 string, a Moonstone, a Peavy, a very sweet little bass, an acoustic and a keyboard. Had a player piano and have played the organ and a harpsicord made in the 1700s that belonged to Spreckles.

However, I looked it up and it is quite interesting.

Lynda, wondering if b-i-l could make one of those, hmmmmmm.

I had to look it up: mandolin I was confused because I recently read
some of the Madeline book to the 6 year old.

ANY way, is any one on the list a player of the hammered dulcimer?

We are getting a piano with the house (pay extra) and I've had a first
lesson in square dancing with the 6 YO. I've always wanted to play a
hammered dulcimer, and making them could conceivably be a thing to do
after I retire the next time.
