Hey, Bev! Don't let it bother you too much. I was muzzled on
Homestead-Work some years ago for letting people know the truth about
the animal rights agenda, quoting animal rights leaders. There were
some animal rights animal owners (so they clearly did not understand
the concept), and I decided to educate the list about the issue.,
Truth is upsetting, apparently. I left that list for greener pastures.
I was on Farmer's list, and then had to get off all lists for awhile
due to insufficient time to read any of them. What's the name of his
list? Maybe I'll rejoin. Anyhow, your posts here are appreciated.
Gloria

Well, Bobford, thank you for the compliment, but I'm not entirely
comfortable with it. I'm definitely not the smartest, but I do enjoy
this list more than any other list that I have ever a part of, homestead
related or not(that includes lists like Cheesemakers, the WSU Goat List,
LGD lists, astronomy lists and others). The people here make me feel at
ease and I feel that I can be myself and show my moods. I don't have to
watch what I say too much. I can curse, rant, be silly, or whatever. I
don't have anything to prove here, my intentions are pretty much right
out there in the open, and you all are like family. If my postings are
enjoyable, they are only a mirror to you guys.
I know some of you are on another list that I am fairly active on and
probably saw that I got my hands slapped this past week. The moderators
jumped in and shut down the thread on me. That has bothered me all
week. I took it personal. I think, in all the years I have been
running in these homestead circles, that I have been moderated only a
few times, but I hate it..I hate it because I try very hard not to be
offensive, and when I am, I kick myself more than any moderator could.
I try to be helpful and share what I know. I've never owned a list or
moderated one, but if I did, I think I would be like Lee and just let
the chips fall where they may. I didn't use to like her style of
moderation or lack thereof, but over the long haul of it, I can see its
value. (Thank you Lee) I don't think Farmer is still on this list, but
he, too, is a good moderator. I seem to run into trouble when people
don't know me well, when they don't know what my intentions are.
I've been sick all week, and you guys are like a warm blanket.
Anyway, it's nice and comforting to be home....thanks everyone.
