She often described how
he had a windmill pump water thru the kitchen, then the barn, then the
fields for irrigation, so they didn't have to draw water. I hope I have
some of those genes.
Well of course you do.
Your great-grandfather was not only a smart guy but he lived a complete life.
I wonder how many of us will live so long, having now been exposed to toxics our grandparents never knew, eating more out of cans and boxes and living less from our own labor.
Of course it matters little.
