I've been thinking about my own mortality lately. It's time to quit

Maybe someone will archive this note and if I ever inadvertently end up like
Terri Schiavo, that some of you will care enough to fight or protest or
whatever to end my life.

We had wills done last year with the added clause that we don't want to be
on life support. Since our boys are underage, I had to stipulate who would
take care of them in the unlikely event my husband and I would both die in a
car wreck or something awful like that. You can do your own will but would
need to have all of it spelled out in simple detail. Get a book from the
library on the subject to make sure you have everything covered, may even
come with a dvd w/ form. Everything must be in writing and it should be
notarized. Keep a copy in your file cabinet or other prominent location
with other household documents, perhaps let your kids have a copy (since
they are over 18), and perhaps give a copy to a close friend or relative who
might be in charge of carrying out your wishes. We don't have a safe
deposit box at a bank like some folks do (all it would contain at this point
would be air and dust), but that would also be a good place for an original
or copy.

After your will is done, you can get back to sisuing.
