What about the last four ? Reminds me of
the bit about the people who don't read history ...
so they repeat it ...

Just in case you weren't feeling too old today, this will certainly change
things. Each year the staff at Beloit College in Wisconsin puts together a
list to try to give the faculty a sense of the mindset of this year's
incoming freshmen. Here's this year's list:

The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were born
in 1985. They are too young to remember
(snip)
Pass this on to the other old fogies on your list. Notice the larger type.

Pass this on, too :

The girls who do are *still* ruined,
the boys who do are *still* 'high scorers'
and much admired by their peers ...
"The more things change, the more
they stay the same ..."

Exactly. Girls who do are 'fast',
'ruined', 'prostitutes', etc. while
boys who do are 'sowing their
wild oats', 'high scorers', and
much admired, ...

PHFFBRLTT to the double standard
and the patriarchal system that
keeps it going.

PS : I *do* appreciate 'seeing'
your thoughts and what's 'behind'
them. Thank you.

After having read through a few links, this one caught me :

http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/112204A.shtml<http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/112204A.shtml>

"statistical study - the

sole method

available

to monitor the accuracy of

e-voting" .......

There are enough "whoa - heads up" to go 'round -

in every aspect of the voting process leading

up the actual voting - *and* in the counting - *and*

in the follow-ups showing "discrepancy" after

"discrepancy" - add them all together and you

have a mish-mash that a raft of 'Solomons' might

not unravel. And then there's the plain ole gut

feeling that says it got away with it once, has had

four years to put other 'systems' in place, and *has*

including paying for those systems to work in

its favor. As in the link and excerpt above - even

if the 'accuracy' of the vote is supported, who

knows how much money it may have taken to

*buy* that support ? There is so much hiding

and lying that has gone on for so long how can

anybody *not* doubt ?!?
