"Whoa, Nellie" - I don't know where mine is,
but did you read Wendell Berry's view on
*place* as in "my place" (his) "in the world"
(where his home/family lived/lives and the
great majority of Americans *don't* any more) ??
I don't even remember if what I saw in ?the?
magazine was 'the whole thing' or if it was
part of a longer essay ...

Yes, the Bible-r 'way' and the Koran 'way'
are alike - as I noted in an earlier post -
"show me the money".

The *Christ* had only the robe on His back -
he owned nothing (the way I've heard it told)
and maybe that marvel has been what's kept
the history going for 20 centuries-and-counting,
meanwhile profit for prophets whose muscle-
labor never mind.
