This brings me to a rather strange question perhaps, but I have always suggested DE for slugs.  It is available in nurseries both online and local, but what about the stuff they sell in swimming pool supply places??? Is this the same, pure diatomaceous earth that gardeners use?  If so it comes in megasize bags here and is considerably cheaper. I think it is something to do with filters for pools.  Can I send readers to the pool shop for garden supplies or not?
Thanks
Kate
