Watch out for the akebia - it grows 40+ ft on my house and would grow more if I didn't cut it back every two weeks.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas.  I have two 'Jean Dilly' Alberta spruce 
in stone troughs that I will transplant there.  And, an akebia sounds great, 
too, given that there is a wire trellis at the bed back.  Foxglove would be 
cool, too!
