Great suggestion.  ROUGE ROYALE™ sweet fragrance of fresh ripe raspberries and sour citrus fills a room. Luscious burgundy to raspberry color, the old-fashioned European rose starts out with deep burgundy red buds opening to large, perfectly quartered, bright red raspberry blooms with 75 to 80 petals - a form reminiscent of the treasured Rosa gallica. An abundant bloomer, Rouge Royale produces one to two sturdy flowers per long stem that hold up well in rain and heat and are great for cuttings --  shelf life of up to two weeks in a vase. Hardy in zones 5-9.  Go to www.starroses.com for a photo.

Rue Royale from the Romantica series of Conard Pyle.  I may have spelled Rue

incorrectly.  I've had it in two gardens, and the fragrance is heady, fruity

and much like raspberries.
