Try Messenger on it early next season and apply monthly. Roses really
respond to the harpin protein. (And the ARS endorses it.)

I have Rouge Royale, also a Romantica, which has a deep red color and
the most wonderful "olde tyme" rose scent. It opens like a hybrid tea
and then moves into the multi-petaled, quartered form. Alas, it gets
