I would take Suzy up on her offer of a free sample if you have not done so already.  It is definitely NOT to late to apply Messenger!  It has the ability of working even after fruit is harvested by keeping the fungi at bay! We have one guy up here who has grown the first beef steak tomato outdoors without cover!
