Hi Jeff, no problem. The entire experiment will be written up at its
conclusion. I originally thought it might be applicable to fruit trees since
the product was derived from fireblight. I was hoping it would give my pears
immunity from fireblight and possible increase vigor and production on the
fruit trees. The small fruits and vegetables were an afterthought section
of the experiment. I have enough controls to watch them. Every plant or
tree has an exact match control. While I did play with a few trees and
things with no controls, they are not part of the formal trial.

So far on my experiment, NY, zone 6/7, halfway thru, I can say that on my
treated plants, :
1-no effect on fruit trees whatsoever
2-tomatoes got very tall, extra leggy, and production of flowers seems to be
less by about 20%
3-noticeable results of the good kind on strawberries, blackberries,
blueberries, and raspberries. Zero mold, zero fungus, zero rot. Let it rain
now. I don't care.

Since you are particularly interested in the tomatoes, you might want to know
that I am using a test of a wide variety of plants, I got 4 of everything
from Hicks Nursuries, including heirlooms, red, yellow, and orange, along
with some various sweet peppers. All of the tomatoes and peppers that were
test or control items are being grown in pots, and the applications are root
drenches, not sprays, so as to minimize the "creep" effect I was warned
about.

The tomatoes are so tall that they are growing out of the tomato cages. I
have never had that happen before. I guess I need different cages for these
guys. I normally do not have pests or fungus on tomatoes because of the
sheer numbers of hungry birds.
