Thanks, Jeff, for your response. We'll be glad to send samples to
anyone.

By the way, I just talked to Ralph Snodsmith yesterday. He's also
testing Messenger and with similar results as you, Jeff. He said he
tested two identical tomato plants -- planted in the same conditions and
treated the same except for the spraying of Messenger. The tomato
sprayed with Messenger set flowers 2 weeks earlier and fruit within 3
weeks. The foliage was darker and the stems thicker. The non-Messenger
plant, he said, looked "anemic."

In addition, he used Messenger on his peonies and said he had twice as
many blossoms that were 50% larger than normal. Normally, he said about
1/2 of the buds would turn black with botrytis blight but none this
year. They all bloomed. He didn't have a single sign of the gray mold
-- every bud was clean, plump and about 1/2 the size of a tennis ball
and they all bloomed.

His roses, too, are responding to Messenger. There is no sign,
according to Ralph, of any black spot, yellowing leaves or mildew on his
fussy hybrid teas. The blossoms are 1/3 to 50% larger and his is
already experiencing a 2nd flush of blooms. He expects to get a third
flush by fall.

Joan, Please keep us informed on the tomatoes you sprayed with
Messenger. I
suspect in the long run that your production will beat any control
plants...which I hope you maintain!

We are having great results with Messenger up here...as some may know
over
2500 of my readers got the free samples. It definitely makes for
healthier
plants up here!

Cheers,
Jeff l
