Title: Re: [gwl-g] Organic gardening Government standards have never been the best on anything, regardless of the era or the administration. Anyone who has been involved with organics long enough has plenty of experience with that. Groups like Tilth and others have long set better standards. Instead of depending on government standards, learn about some of the others. I don't know how it is in other areas, but where I live, more products follow the standards of the private groups than those of the government, anyway. The knowledgeable growers get their organic certification from the private groups, because those groups have a better following.
