To hold weed control fabric down for perhaps 2-3 years and then be able to
cultivate the ground beneath I would use concrete paving slabs. It will be
necessary to get some help to place them initially and then ultimately to
remove
them, but they are easier to cope with than relatively small countless
particles of rock from a crusher. After the concrete pavers are not needed
to
restrain the weed fabric they can be used elsewhere or put in a yard sale.
When full
capabilities are not readily available, thinking of undoing things is as
important as doing them in the beginning.
