Mark 16: 9+ appears, as far as I know, first in Codex Bezae (D). A colophon
in one
early manuscript, Armenian if I recall correctly, attributes the ending to
Aristos.
I am of the opinion that the ending of Mark, like the rest of
Mark...Matthew's
Mark anyway...lies embedded in Matthew and I have selected from Matthew
those verses that represent Mark 16:9-15 and the original ending of the Mark
Matthew
knew.
