That's the problem exactly. I have implemented a fix and will commit it as
soon as I can get a good test run (my test system is very slow right now).

That's what I figure too. I'll look into it in more detail as soon as I get
the convert fix committed. If necessary, I'll "fix" it to know the libtds
date format internals -- after all, this is an "internal" library test.
