"flags" works for me against a Sybase 11 server with TDS 5.0 but fails on a
SQL2K server with TDS 7.0. I think the test should be disabled in the
release if it is not needed right now.

They fail for me too, on Tru64. I'll wait until you work through these with
Bill and will check again.
