Good to hear.

Your DBA may have good reason to use Code Page 850. It is, for instance,
what MS-DOS used. (I hope we can use the past tense with MS-DOS?) In
general, however, it would be much better in a modern heterogeneous
environment to use CP 1252, which is much nearer ISO-8859-1. Still, no Euro
symbol, either way.
