thank u for your help. I will try to find the real structure.
here is another question, In access or delphi, when exec a sql, it mostly
post the sentence with a variable list. such as,
insert into test values(@001, @002) later in the packet it will show that
@001 int, @002 int,
@001=10, @002=20, have u meat this kind of packet? who knows the structure?
I'm using SQL2000 under win2000.

It is likely that the difference between those clients using 0x10 login
packets and those using 0x12 login packets is that the ones using 0x12
are members of an AD realm, and can negotiate a different kind of
authentication that's not available without Active Directory.
