Mmm, this is "interesting". I set the permissions of the SQL Server
User I'm testing with to db_owner, and now t0016 and t0017 don't just
fail, but also blow the SQLServer process out of the water!

Running the SQL Profiler from a 3rd system I even get a stack dump
from SQLServer, I'll attach a partial cut from it. Nothing over the
wire should be able to do this to SQLServer, and I've not seen it
happen before. We must be tickling a bug in SQLServer somehow.
