I do believe this solves the "colon thing" as referenced by PHP
Bug #15170 (datetime fields returns " :" string instead of field's
value).

Please let me know if this works...

Ok, core dump I think I know, if you are using a snapshot version update

to todays and let me know I checked in some fixes yesterday. The colon
thing I don't get yet.
