yes I have used sourceforge too and have seen it to be
very usufull but I think that a enviroment such as
pelmonks where freetds would be the main focus and
points would be given out to ensure that people who
know what they are doing would help novice users in an
attempt to better their rank while giving negative
points to people who just add more confussion.. (yes
input like comments and email such as this would count
as possitive but would have its own area for such
instead of both code and questions and input in one
cluttered area) its all about ogainization to me...
after all how many of you (like myself) get 100+
emails a day and have to check it 2-3 times daily to
handel them all efficently. it would still be
considered open source and would still maintain
connections to open source utilities such as
SourceForge but would be centuralized with ez access
to what you as people would want. You dont know how
many countless people that I have talked to that love
TDS but hate how unorganized FreeTDS is in advise and
in general
