Identifying Summer Diseases of Vegetables in Your Garden
Thursday, August 16, 6:30-8:30 pm
At CCE-Tompkins Education Center, 615 Willow Ave., Ithaca NY
Diseases affecting vegetables can be difficult to identify, especially when nonbiotic issues like drought and nutritional deficiencies occur.  Fresh samples or color images will lead into a discussion of detection and identification, with possible control measures addressed.  Dr. Tom Zitter, plant pathologist at Cornell, will teach this class for the home gardener. Fee:  $5; pre-registration is requested.  Please call (607) 272-2292 for more information or to sign up.
