2012 Open Days Garden Tour
Saturday August 4, 10:00am – 4:00pm
Locations in Tompkins County

Visit four outstanding private gardens that are open to the public for one day only on the 2012 Open Days Garden Tour.  The Tompkins County Community Beautification Program coordinates local participation in this national event sponsored by The Garden Conservancy. Visitors can drop-in at any or all of the gardens on their own schedule during the hours that the garden is open. The cost is $5 per person per garden, with proceeds split between the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program and the national Garden Conservancy. The tour goes on rain or shine. Sites selected for this year's tour are:

•Steve Austin's garden, 110 Delaware Ave. in the City of Ithaca
•Emily Makepeace's 'Sanity Garden' , 302 E. Falls St. in the City of Ithaca
•Nancy Ridenour's lotus garden , 346 Warren Rd. in the Town of Ithaca
 •Cindy Roberson's garden , 124 Mott Rd. in Dryden

For more information and photos of each garden, visit: http://ccetompkins.org/garden/open-days-garden-tours .  You can pick up a map on the day of the tour at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, 615 Willow Avenue in Ithaca.
