Does not the new situation represented by the church create a situation for
Paul to overlook the Deuteronomic law in order to teach fellow believers that
there is "no longer Jew nor Greek, slave nor free ..." by sending O. back?
It certainly created a "teachable moment"!
Or on a more practical level, was there perhaps a Roman law which would
convict Paul for harboring a runaway slave?
Regarding Paul's view(s) of Jesus, has anyone ever discussed Paul's view of
"merit"?
