Relative to the discussion about Paul's financial support from the Philippians etc. I am working on a theory that in his Corinthians correspondence Paul uses the rhetoric of shame to get the Corinthians to send him some money. Does anyone know what Philippians and Corinthians thought of each other? How ancient is the Macedonian-Greek conflict??
Thanks, in advance, for any thoughts,

Rick, depends what period you are talking about. Philippi was a Roman colony in the first century, its inscriptions are almost all in Latin, its government modeled on that of Rome.
