I really don't mean this to sound snarky: but what's up with Ukuleles?
How'd this trend get going? What's the repertoire? Are raccoon coats
involved?

Also, cupcakes? (though I understand that more as a
1980:croissants::1990s:biscotti::2000s:cupcakes continuum)
