Peter Searcy made a Y2K record for Time Bomb that is one killer slice of the power pop. I can't believe he'd slum it to play those kinda- songs.
Then again, what's so funny 'bout sweet nostalgia for kids who weren't there?
Can I get an Ex-Lion Tamers ?

Acck! It cuts off right as you're getting towards the climax. I have
some very blue balls now, thanks to you Mr. Davis.

They came out and played Spiderland in its entirety, in order. It was-- ch-scene: the list that mirrors alt.music.chapel-hill --
extremely faithful to the record, as if they were being graded on how
accurately they could duplicate it. But don't get me wrong, it sounded
great and I enjoyed every bit of it. Quite interesting to watch Pajo do
all those guitar parts. After Spiderland, they did three or maybe four
instrumental pieces, and then that was it, about an hour long.
I realize that the music is what made that record famous, but I really
love the words. Darkness and weirdness.
