I feel exactly the same. Steve is one of the best. Big
Black/Rapeman/Shellac's Action Park and at least 30% of all the stuff he's
produced has been legendary. He took Jesus Lizard from great to
extraordinary. Same with the Pixies.

Last I heard, from a friend who traded him cash for services, Shellac was
the annoying stuff he fought through between online poker binges.
